Not only are pubs taxed on absolutely everything but we’re having to deal with soaring energy bills on top.
The rise in business rates is a kick in the teeth.
Pubs are a big part of history and should be protected. A place to make friends/ relationships/ and keep lonely people occupied.
The pub closures will cause a ripple of staff then companies that will be forced out of work.
Have some humanity- retract the rates rise.
