The BBC is publicly funded, with the Government setting the level of licence fee.

For many people Top Gear is the only programme they watch live and as such is the sole reason they continue to pay their licence fee.

This petition represents the will of the licence payers (involved) who, consider the cancellation of the remaining Top Gear shows and the suspension of Jeremy Clarkson a matter for Parliamentary intervention given its involvement with the BBC.
