This will greatly impact the UK residents. 2024 study by Alabrese et al finds that the vast majority of UK regions experienced significant output losses as a result of Brexit, estimated at 5-10 percentage points of GDP relative to synthetic counterfactuals. & hopes for increased trade with nonEU nations via new deals havent fully materialized e.g USA
