We call on you to debate the cultural value and public support for reviving the sitcom Goodnight Sweetheart. The show originally aired from 1993 to 1999 with a revival episode in 2016, remains popular through repeats and streaming, and a new continuation has been written and is ready for production.
We believe Goodnight Sweetheart remains culturally significant, celebrates British television history, and continues to resonate with audiences across generations. We therefore ask Parliament to debate the value of encouraging the BBC to consider commissioning new episodes of the programme, reflecting public interest in the return of this iconic series.
