Rejected petition: Limit the amount of News Broadcasts for the sake of the Nations Mental Health

Call for a review on why it is deemed necessary to have news every half hour on the radio in particular. Also, why is only negative news deemed news. Why is there no balance?
I believe the amount and frequency of negative news is out of proportion with what is necessary. I believe it is having a detrimental effect on the Nation’s Mental Health and it spreads fear mongering.
