I want people to take action and accountability because neglect abuse and cruelty occur far too often, yet the punishment given don’t reflect on the severity of the harm caused.
Very often animals who receive neglect, abuse or cruelty, the impact is prolonged and irreversible. Research and case outcomes repeatedly show that individuals convicted of animal abuse often reoffend when penalties are weak or when ownership bans aren’t long or effective enough.
