I am asking the Government to lower the minimum income for UK partner/spouse visas from £29,000 to £25,000. The current rule prevents many citizens from bringing partners to live with them and is higher than the average salary. Reducing it would make family reunification fairer and more achievable.

The current £29,000 minimum income for UK partner/spouse visas prevents many citizens from bringing partners to live with them. Reducing it to £25,000 would make family reunification fairer, more achievable, and less financially burdensome for ordinary earners.
