Rejected petition Fair & Realistic Indefinite Route Suggestion for Skilled Workers

If the plan for implementing ESR is solely to restrict access to benefits claims and prolong naturilization process as its a privilege and not a right, the same can successfully done by providing ILR after 5 years without access to public funds and allowing naturilization eventually after 10 years.

More details

1. Allowing ILR after 5 years would eliminate the need to further apply for a visa extension and pay extortionate visa and IHS fees for the next 5 years.
2. Every Skilled Worker has "No Access to Public Funds" but still contributes to National Insurance irrespectively, therefore, charging them for 5 additional years of IHS and visa fee would be extremely unfair.
