We call on the Government to create a contribution-based re-entry visa for individuals who previously lived and worked lawfully in the UK. Many skilled professionals paid taxes, contributed to key sectors, integrated into society, and complied fully with immigration rules.

A structured route prioritising prior UK work history, tax contributions and clean immigration records could support skills shortages and reward compliance without expanding immigration broadly.
