Rejected petition: Amy's law: Require mandatory cancer red flag training for all GPs

Rejected on

Amy’s Law – Red Flags, legislation that would require mandatory training for GPs and frontline medical professionals to better recognise red flag symptoms of cancer and other serious conditions in young people.

We call on the Government to legislate for mandatory training for GPs and primary care clinicians on recognising cancer red flag symptoms in young people, and to strengthen early diagnostic and referral pathways to prevent delayed diagnosis.
