Rejected petition Change high school opening times to 10am+

If you change the school times to start later students will find it easier to come in and we wont have to destroy our bodies waking up early, theres multiple studies and tests thst have been done to prove this.

A study made in an english high school showed that students that started at 10am performed better in test scores, had higher attendance and improved sleep duration. Teens produce sleep melatonin whoch is a hormone in your body that tells you to sleep at different times to others, as kids in primary school they prefer waking up earlier but as you reach teenage years its harder to wake up as early. The school system should be built around our bodies, not against them, and the study proves it.
