Petition Mandate review by human before platform bans business account

We call on the Government to mandate that platforms require a review by a human, and a clear explanation why an account is banned, before a business account is permanently banned from the platform. We believe such safeguard is needed for accounts that affect UK small enterprises and livelihoods.

Many UK small businesses rely on social media and messaging platforms as essential infrastructure. Automated enforcement decisions can remove accounts without transparent appeal processes, causing immediate economic harm. Businesses need fair process, accountability and protection.
