Petition Legislate to reduce motorcycle noise to lower, standardised levels

Bring in a law requiring all motorcycles to have their exhaust noise silenced to standardised levels, without any exceptions for existing machines.

Many motorcycles emit exhaust noise at extreme levels. Other motorcycles are very well silenced which proves that it is possible to silence motorcycle engines adequately. The freedom of some motorcycle owners to seemingly be able to deafen thousands of people is wrong and unnecessary.
