Rejected petition Change the national anthem to Jerusalem

We want the UK’s (Englands for sports) national anthem to be changed to Jerusalem as we believe the national anthem is outdated and it should be about something that represents us as a nation not about one man in a family

Many agree that the current national anthem doesn’t demonstrate us as a country, it demonstrates one man which I respect it’s been around for hundreds of years and is iconic but a change is needed. Also in sports it doesn’t create much of an atmosphere and doesn’t get the crowd going, so I believe it should be changed to something about the country to really get that lift from the spectators
