Rejected petition The education system needs an overhaul
The current schooling system in the UK is not fit for purpose, the government needs to restructure the education system, what is taught, how our children are being dealt with, constant detentions, isolation and suspensions is not dealing with children in a helpful way but actually damaging them.

excessive punishments are damaging to our children.
Anxiety, mental health and school refusal and avoidance are on the rise massively and we must protect children's education and mental wellbeing not just dismiss and throw them out of lessons for the most silliest of things. Personally I feel the system is massively outdated and needs to be looked at. Academy trusts are using over the odds punishments and it needs to stop!
