Open petition: Require compulsory warnings before news coverage on wars and conflicts
Created by Ivan Ambrose
Closes on
Reporting on wars and conflicts is necessary. However, we are in a Mental Health crisis and I believe these horrendous events are making people’s Mental Health so much worse. I believe there must be warnings before wars and conflicts news, whether on TV, online, apps, radio or newspapers.
I believe the current war in Iran is exacerbating the desperate need for compulsory warnings before news coverage which is reporting on wars and conflicts. Of course these horrendous events need to be reported on. However, we are in a Mental Health crisis. I believe warnings must be in place on all forms of news, whether it be on the TV, online, radio or newspapers. I believe these warnings would help people to make informed decisions on whether to engage or not to protect their Mental Health.
