Rejected petition: Reduce speed on Esplanade Crescent to 20mph with cameras

Rejected on

This area on South Cliff, Scarborough has become a racecourse with people taking their chances as they speed round the bend near Shuttleworth Gardens. Fortunately nobody has been injured to my knowledge, but it is only a matter of time. 20mph with fines for those caught speeding.

I would like the Parliament to realise how important it is to stop cars, vans and motorhomes to name but a few and make them stick to a 20mph and be aware that if they go over the limit, they will be fined.
It is not only people who could be injured but people’s pets.
