Rejected petition: Create a flexible Work Visa allowing immigrants to work in non-restricted Field

Rejected on

We want the government to create a flexible UK work permit allowing immigrants to work in any non-restricted sector, such as health care without being tied to a single employer. Current restricted jobs and ineligibility for benefit can remain as is.

This would allow hard-working immigrants to work for employers of their choice rather than being tied to one sponsor. It could reduce pressure on employers to handle visa sponsorship and help address labour shortages in sectors like health and social care. It may also reduce abuse of power by employers who exploit tied visas and could encourage undocumented migrants to regularise their status and work legally.
