No one should have to miss school, work, or daily life because of their period. Yet far too many women and girls in the UK go without essential period products. Access to these items is a basic right, and the Government must act to ensure equality, dignity, and opportunity for all who menstruate.

Period products are not a luxury they are essential. Countless women and girls still go without, missing school, work, or social life. Scotland shows free access works. With Monica Lennon’s support I call on the Government to end period poverty protect health and dignity guarantee equality for everyone who menstruates nationwide, and ensure no one is left behind excluded, or disadvantaged because of their period. Everyone deserves equal opportunity, access and respect regardless of their gender.
