Rejected petition Consider Wycombe High Grammar School to not ban smart phones/devices.
The School Wycombe high grammar in High Wycombe is planning on putting a full smart device ban in school. This is unfair and unsafe as people need their smart devices to access bus passes, parent contact or emergency services. Not all of this can be done through one school office.
More details
An example of this could be: A student from Wycombe high school takes a public bus where a virtual bus pass is needed to scan to be able to get on the bus. If smart devices are banned completely , this student will loose access to being able to get home safely. Another example is: A student from Wycombe high feels uncomfortable or unsafe in the environment they are currently in, and they feel embarrassed to tell the school office. They need their smart device to contact a parent or trusted adult
