Military children face major life changes when a parent leaves the Armed Forces. This can include moving, losing their support network and being put in hard situations as their parents also navigate this change. Despite this, they receive little support during this difficult transition.

Children in military families serve in their own way through constant change and sacrifice. When a parent leaves the Armed Forces, they should not be left to navigate one of the biggest transitions of their lives without support.

Recognising and supporting military children during this time will help them build stability, confidence, and a stronger future.
