People who live in the village of Heath Hayes want the land that Taylor Wimpey want to build on to spared and for protection to be put in place for the Grassland habitat could be lost in the process of building. The land not only has high ecological value, but it also holds importance to our hearts.

The areas surrounding the proposed housing estate cannot sustain the amount of people that will be added to the population, not enough schools, job opportunities and the roads themselves are already struggling with traffic because of the designer outlet in Cannock.
There are many protected species on this land, the Redwing Starlings, dunnocks, king fishers, which are amber listed birds. It's illegal to disturb them while nesting.
We want a community value order put in place, we all care deeply.
