Rejected petition Remove all Latin from practice in UK law
In UK law, fair warning is a fundamental element which ensures everyone in the UK is able to access and understand UK law. Latin phrases, which are only understood by a small percentage of UK population directly contradict and prevent this, and make it much harder to learn and follow law in the UK.

It creates easier access to both regular UK citizens and students learning the law, giving both a better chance to understand such a vital and fundamental aspect of the UK.
