Rejected petition Make all CHARGED with Domestic Violence/Abuse sign a register.

Change needs to happen.
Claire’s law is extremely hard to access, although great it’s not serving to its full potential.
I am proposing to Parliament that they introduce a register that must be signed by anyone convicted of Domestic Violence/Abuse.

More details

Domestic Violence/Abuse is at an all time high.

Crime survey for 2025 estimated that 3.8 million people aged 16 years+ experienced domestic abuse.
Estimated 2.2 million females and 1.5 million males have experienced domestic violence/abuse in the past year with 53,919 charged by the CPS.

Those 53,919 people are a danger to other people and future relationships.
Everyone deserves to know who they are dating or including in their lives or their children’s lives.
