Rejected petition Parliament must end MP's non means tested perks and Allowances.

MPs should be stopped from claiming none means tested perks & allowances, they contrast hugely with the means tested and limited support available to the public. MPs should not be allowed to continue to claim taxpayer-funded expenses for their living costs.

More details

While single people & families struggle to tighten their belts, MPs continue to receive substantial salaries, and can claim expense allowances, and perks, that their constituents could never dream of. This disparity, the lack of transparency, and the growing frustration among taxpayers who have little say in how their money is spent, has to stop.

This should end the career politician, we need elected MP's who can relate to their constituents.
