Prohibit restaurants adding tips or “service charges” to bills, even if they are optional.

Restaurants are increasingly adding tips as service charges to bills. Although it is still often optional, many customers find it difficult asking for the charge to be removed. We believe this is an American culture that has no place in the UK.
