To cap essential expenses like gas and electric, water, mortgages, rent and student loans. Allowing more people to move out before 30, people's student loans will actually be paid off as right now, they will never be fully paid for, This also allows more people to have a good standard of living.
Too many people suffer trying to make ends meet, children starve, parents starve to make ends meet, pay just for a roof over their head. Adults finishing university struggle to keep afoot as they are in constant debt from unreasonablely High interest on student debt and people often live with parents, house share after 30, after children, even after a stable job, but due to high house/ mortgage and even just food prices people struggle and are unable to live independently.
