Rejected petition: Prosecute any politicians who lie or do not follow through on their manifesto
Rejected on
We want politicians to be held accountable for lieing or not following through on their manifesto, we want England to fall in line with Wales on this matter
For far too long the English public have relied on politicians to be transparent, trustworthy and in it for their constituencies and the common people, however, unfortunately this simply is not the case.
Politicians create manifesto's to gain the support and votes of the English people and yet rarely if ever carry through their promises outlined in their manifesto, this needs to stop and we need to hold politicians accountable.
