Rejected petition: We would like to improve road safety in our area by installing a speed bump (

Rejected on

Vehicles regularly travel at excessive speeds along this road, creating a dangerous environment for residents, particularly children and pedestrians.
Children playing nearby and many people walking along or crossing the street, the current road layout does not do enough to slow traffic down.

We want action because speeding cars make our residential road unsafe. Children play nearby and pedestrians use the area daily, yet drivers often travel too fast to react safely. There have been near-misses, and it feels like an accident is inevitable. A speed bump would slow traffic, reduce risk, and protect residents from serious harm. Residents deserve to feel safe in their own neighbourhood, and children should be able to play outside without unnecessary dangers.
