Rejected petition: Make albanian an option in schools for gcse

The government could fund curriculum development, train and recruit Albanian language teachers, and work with exam boards to create a GCSE qualification. It could also support pilot programs in schools with Albanian communities and provide resources to promote uptake and awareness.

Introducing Albanian as a GCSE supports inclusivity, reflects the UK’s diverse population, and helps Albanian-speaking students value their heritage. It also promotes cultural understanding, language skills, and stronger community engagement within schools.And the mass community
