Rejected petition Restore the 653 Bus Service: Hourly Daytime for Bradford, Otley, and Pool

For too long people on the 653 route have been without a connection. The route runs once a day each direction in the early morning and this is only on weekdays. This service should run every hour as it connects key businesses, schools and the community

More details

Residents in Pool-in-Wharfedale, Otley, and Menston deserve reliable access to the economic and cultural heart of Bradford. Currently, those without cars, particularly the elderly and those with limited mobility are effectively cut off from Bradford’s major hospitals (such as St Luke’s and the Bradford royal infirmary), retail, and regional transport hubs. An hourly service would end this "transport poverty" and help our most vulnerable neighbours.

It also connects children to a key education
