Parliament must debate and enshrine in law that "all PMQ questions must be directly answered", as they relate to their party without referring back to the other parties who are not in power.
Virtually every Wednesday at Prime Ministers Question time, (PMQ’s) the PM/DPM will literally ignore or refuse to give a straight answer to whoever, is asking the political question. This can make PMQ’s a virtual laughing stock and a total waste of time, whilst also being frustrating and embarrassing to the UK, and the rest of the watching world.
This situation needs to change. When a question is posed the PMQ/DMQ must give a valid response. It is their questions to answer.
Why was this petition rejected?
There’s already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue.
