Rejected petition: Add Endometriosis To The List Of Conditions Eligible For Free NHS Prescriptions

Rejected on

People with Endometriosis often need long-term medication but must pay for prescriptions in England.

We call on the Government to add endometriosis to the list of conditions that qualify for free NHS prescriptions.

Endometriosis is a chronic condition that often requires ongoing treatment, including pain relief and hormone medication. Many people rely on repeat prescriptions to manage daily symptoms.

Despite this, endometriosis is not included in the list of conditions that qualify for free prescriptions in England. This places a continued financial burden on those living with the disease.

Endometriosis is a full body disease, lifelong, chronic, severely debilitating and currently has no cure.
