Rejected petition: Reform the child maintenance service, its unfair on Dad's.

Change the way the child maintenance services work out your payments, it should be worked out on your basic contracted hours only, they shouldn't take into account over time as its not guaranteed and many dads only work the over time as they need the money. We don't want to work more to loose more.
I want the government to look into the unfair treatment of Dads. We have to work overtime and extra days as we need the money to support the children who live with us, the more hours we work the more the child maintenance takes its unfair. We don't have a problem supporting our children but when we dont have the choice to have full custody why should we be punished. And especially when the childs mother has a new partner and other children why should we be paying so much money to another family.
Why was this petition rejected?
