Open Fund legal aid for all SEN parents to take SEN Teams to court for loss of job

Due to local council SEN team failures, many children are unable to access education and as a result parents lose careers and incomes to care for their children. These parents have no access to legal aid to get compensation.

Enable SEND parents/Carers to access legal aid to take legal action against SEND Teams within local authorities for loss of secure employment, careers and the financial loss caused by failures to follow the SEND law, statutory guidance and responsibilities. We are concerned that many Parents and Carers are forced out of jobs due to consistent, repeated, avoidable failures by Local authority SEN Teams resulting in relying on benefits, financial difficulties and poverty.
