Rejected petition: When counsellors step down costing the council £35000, the party should pay this

Rejected on

Create a law stating that the owning party or counsellor should pay the cost of any re-elections when any counsellor that resigns straight after being elected or is found to have committed hate/sex crimes online and is sacked because the party didn't vet them.

A certain "party" ltd (private company) has in the last few council elections stood people in council areas who either never wanted the job and then stood down, or were sacked for hate crimes costing the council in the region of £25-35k for each counsellor for another election.

The party or the candidate should be forced to pay this, not the tax payers.

I believe that they are doing this to bankrupt councils.
