Rejected petition: All MPs to be randomly breathalysed before entering House of Commons.
Rejected on
A random breathalyser test should be taken while House of Commons is in operation.
A limit of 50 mg of alcohol per 100 ml of blood is max permissible.
Any MP found above that limit will be deemed unfit for duties and banned for a month.
Totally unacceptable for an MP to turn up for work under the influence of alcohol.
This is true for any work in the UK.
