Rejected petition: HD (High definition) TV License for the United Kingdom.

My idea isn’t for the TV license to be scrapped but for Freeview and television in the United Kingdom to be in HD (High definition) especially for channels funded by TV license payments.
At the moment the only current channels in HD count to nine.
BBC ONE HD, BBC TWO HD, BBC THREE HD, BBC FOUR HD, CBBC HD, CBeebies HD, ITV 1 HD, CHANNEL 4 HD & 5 HD
If all other channels by these networks and their plus one channels (+1), such as the following.
BBC News, BBC Parliament, ITV 2, ITV 3, ITV 4, E4, Film 4, More 4, E4 Extra, 5STAR, 5ACTION, 5SELECT & 4seven
I and others feel like this is a move forward into the future as most televisions today are HD.
Why was this petition rejected?
It’s about something that the UK Government or Parliament is not directly responsible for.
We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
