Rejected petition: Protect Trans People from Discrimination & Harmful Political Targeting in the UK
Rejected on
For too long, trans people and the LGBTQ community have faced discrimination not only in public but in governmental settings this petition calls for, stronger laws around discrimination and anti-trans hate crimes making it easier for gender affirming care, and generalised protection from Oppression.
This petition aims to ensure the safety of not just transgender people but the LGBTQ+ community as a whole. This has gone untouched for too long and it needs to be changed as soon as possible, transgender people do not deserve to be treated like any less of a human. They've been oppressed for too long, too sacred to come out of there shell, as not only the public, but some government party's aim to Jeopardize and make this small portion of people's lives harder, when there just trying to live.
