Table a motion to annul the 'Equality Act 2010: Draft Code of Practice for services, public functions and associations, 2026’ published 21 May 2026.
Reject the new EHRC guidance on the basis of:
1) significant discrimination of transgender individuals.
2) exclusion of intersex and non-binary considerations.
3) negative impact for cisgender females, non-gender conforming individuals, and individuals with disabilities.
4) wilful ignorance of science and lack of evidence.
5) costs and impact to businesses and institutions.
6) incompatibility with gender recognition act, other acts, and ECHR.
7) Avert an inequality-equalities act paradox.
Why was this petition rejected?
