Rejected petition: Make buses free in Wales for under 16s, during the summer, as it is in England.

Rejected on

I believe that children who are under 16 in Wales, should have access to free buses during the summer holidays. This would allow the next generation to explore the local community, as well as spending time outside instead of being on devices. This could help under 16s discover their amazing country.

Buses in England are set to be free as of the summer of 2026, and I think young people in Wales also deserve the opportunity to explore their country. I am aware this would cause some economic costs, however it would be incredibly valuable to the future of the next generation.
