Rejected petition: Make maximum temperature law in united kingdom

Rejected on

UK summers are getting hotter. Staff should not be expected to work in buildings over 30°C without air conditioning. If it is too hot, companies should send people home.

The warehouse I work in has a tin roof, which traps all the hot air inside. When you go upstairs, it gets so hot it can feel hard to breathe. This is a serious health hazard and needs to be taken seriously.
