Rejected petition: For Chemicals Regulation Division to revise the chemicals used by local councils
Rejected on
We could like the Chemicals Regulation Division to conduct an internal investigation on local councils use of pesticides/poison. As of recently, people all over the country are finding intact wildlife AND pets deceased within close proximities to where local councils are using pesticide and poison.
Please sign this petition to save our wildlife and pets. Innocent animals do not deserve to die in their habitats/homes. Mass killings of wildlife can have a detrimental impact on biodiversity and our ecosystem. Please sign this petition to help our wildlife before they become endangered. Thank-you for reading.
Why was this petition rejected?
We can't publish petitions when the request is something that's already happening or something that has been announced since you started your petition.
We think your petition is covered by Government or Parliament action already. If you'd like something else, you could start a new petition clearly explaining what it is.
The HSE, which includes the Chemical Regulation Division, is already involved under the DEFRA 2025 Action Plan in monitoring and reducing the level of use of pesticides by local authorities and others.
