Fund a memorial that formally recognises the Royal Indian Navy’s WW2 service and Royal Indian Navy veterans. Eighty years later, there is no standalone memorial. We feel their families have carried this erasure long enough.

The Royal Indian Navy served the full duration of WW2, growing more than tenfold by 1945. Ratings received no equal pay, no compensation, and faced racial discrimination. After victory, those who struck for dignity were furloughed or punished. No UK memorial exists. My grandfather served 1938–1946 as a signals specialist, earned the VSM, and was honourably reinstated. Britain never formally acknowledged him. We are asking for the UK Government to do this at last.
