Open petition: Apply to rejoin EASA and obtain a reciprocal agreement on licensing
Created by Oliver Paul Taylor
Closes on
Apply to rejoin the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and obtain reciprocal licensing agreements to allow the airline industry to grow and undo the lasting effects from having left the agency.
Leaving EASA resulted in much confusion as to what the new standards would be, with people unsure as to what license to study for, the ramifications of which included stress, loss of relationships, severe debt and less co-operation with an agency responsible for regulating other aircraft and pilots still flying in British sovereign airspace.
We believe an agreement would allow British pilots who are stuck with an EASA licence to obtain a UK one, thus growing the economy and industry.
