Remove all religious exemptions that allow the public carrying of daggers, knives or swords. We believe UK laws on carrying bladed weapons should apply equally to everyone, regardless of religious belief or affiliation.
We, the undersigned, believe UK laws on carrying knives, daggers and swords should apply equally to all, regardless of religious belief or affiliation.
We call on the Government to remove any religious exemptions permitting the carrying of bladed weapons in public places. We believe public safety laws should be applied consistently.
