I am calling on Epping Forest District Council who own land at Old Loughton Rugby Club, Buckhurst Hill, IG9 6JX to grant "Fields in Trust" status on this land in order to protect the land from future development.
I am a Buckhurst Hill Parish Councillor who sits on Planning Committee. A vast amount of local residents attended the Meeting to object to the construction of six padel court. We encourage sporting activity and padel is a fast growing sport in the UK but this site is the wrong place because of access issues and noise.
Residents are concerned about future development on this site which is why I am calling on Epping Forest District Council to agree to Fields In Trust status on this land.
