Rejected petition: Bring back UK pet passport urgently before 2027.

Rejected on

Reintroduce the UK pet passport urgently.

Recent changes prevent UK residents from using EU pet passports, forcing them to obtain costly Animal Health Certificates for each trip. This incurs costs for every journey and creates unnecessary stress and complexity. Frequent travellers are disproportionately affected. A year ago, the Government explored reintroducing a pet passport scheme but has not confirmed a date. We ask for the Pet passport to be reintroduced within the next 9 months with no further delays or excuses.
