Open petition: Create fund to celebrate 100th anniversary of women fully achieving the vote

Created by Andrew George Simcock
Closes on

We call on the Government to create a fund of £10million to help celebrate the 100th anniversary of women achieving the vote on equal terms with men in 1928.

The Government should create a fund of £10million for spending in 2026-2028 to celebrate the 2028 centenary. There would be a limit of £500,000 that would be spent on any one individual project. Applications would be made via local MPs. The MP would need to support the project for it to succeed. Projects could be for permanent installations, such as murals or statues, or temporary, such as events
