Introduce a four-day working and school week, creating a three-day weekend. This would improve mental health, reduce stress, strengthen family relationships, give children more time for learning and activities, and help adults achieve a better work-life balance.
A regular three-day weekend would improve the wellbeing of people across the UK. Children would have more time to rest, spend time with family, take part in sports and hobbies, and support their mental health. Adults would benefit from reduced stress, less burnout, and a better work-life balance. Families would have more opportunities to spend quality time together, while well-rested workers and students could be more productive, focused, and motivated during the four days they attend.
